The Wave, Irish Street , 01900 811450. The Wave, which is also another Tourist Information Centre, is an imaginative and airy £3.3 million facility in the historic Georgian harbour of Maryport. The complex features theatre, cinema, concert hall and conference centre, interactive heritage visitor centre, bar and café/bistro, gift shop featuring 'Made In Cumbria', arts and crafts. The main theatre also stages concerts, cinema, local community arts performances and seats 234.  

Heritage Visitor Centre The Heritage Visitor Centre features interactive displays journeying through Maryport's past and promoting attractions in the town and areas of special interest. Learn about Ship Building in the town and Maryport's links with the Titanic. School Groups are also welcomed to the Heritage Centre, which offers an educational experience for all ages into the local industries of Maryport.

The Wave Café/Bistro Offers light snacks, lunches, refreshments and a bistro menu in an agreeably light modern eating area. All food is fresh and homemade on the premises. There is a fully stocked licensed bar and a catering service for special events. There's also a gift shop which stocks handcrafted gifts and artwork supplied by Made In Cumbria, as well as an extensive range of books.
